Lecture

The three-day course focuses on the development of communication and speaking skills, learning to compose and make speeches, overcoming stage fright, expressing oneself and coping with different situations in communication. Total duration of the course: 10 hours thursday, 24.9. – 6 pm to 8 pm friday, September 25 – 6 pm to 9 pm saturday, 26.9. – 10 am to 1 pm and 4 pm to 6 pm Venue: Nova Akropola, J.J.Strossmayera 8, Zadar The course includes a lecture and practical exercises for each topic. Communication is the foundation of a person's social, work and personal life. Knowing how to express your own thoughts and feelings clearly is the key to success in many life situations. There are few people in whom the very thought of addressing a gathering of people does not cause restlessness. Statistics say that as many as 75% of people are afraid of public speaking. However, speaking in public is a skill that can be mastered using the correct methods. Rhetoric, or the art of speaking, is one of the basic tools that enable good communication. Learning the art of speaking is associated with becoming aware of one's own strengths and weaknesses, intentions and beliefs, and with the application of certain rules and techniques.
