 18:00 – 18:45 | Keynote lecture: Indie development in the age of vibe coding

 Lecturer: Ive Botunac (President of the Board of Directors, CroAI)

 What does a model look like today in which an individual or a small team is self-sufficient? technically develops and maintains its own product without large investors? Through practical examples, Ive will show how one person can be a programmer, designer, marketer and customer support at the same time. We will also touch on the phenomenon of "vibe coding" (AI-assisted development), which drastically accelerated the testing of ideas and broke down barriers to entering the market.

 The key question: What is left for humans in such an automated environment?

 In an age when vibe coding allows us to test ideas instantly, we face completely new engineering and human challenges. How do you mentor a junior who has never written a line of code without Copilot? Are the new generations losing the skill of deep problem solving if technology always offers them a ready answer?

 Now it's no longer a question of what AI can do, but How will we guide the people who use it? Through a discussion between engineers, academics, and lawyers, we want to see whether we need a stronger legal framework to guide us in the right direction, or a stronger moral compass that we must start building in the classroom.
